Book Review... and Movies

FIRST THINGS FIRST. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!

I read a book yesterday that really moved me. It wasn't sad or anything, it was just... idk, great. I don't really want to spoil it for you, [SPOILER ALERT] but its about a girl who got kicked out of her church group, and no one wants to talk to her... not even her parents. They don't tell you in the beginning of the story why they don't talk to her, and why they're being sued millions of dollars by a Denny Pierce. When she starts High School she finds out she has classes with her ex-friends from church, and they make her life impossible. She does make a friend named Casey-a boy who is in love with science. On Sundays her parents leave her at the house and make her watch 3 religious programs, and to pray with the TV preachers, then write a report on that. She doesn't like watching it because she thinks they are fake, because they are only there asking for money most of the time instead of preaching.
[Excerpt]: "We're supposed to dial up the 800 number, give them our credit cards, send money to the TV people as proof of our love of God and our trust in him. I don't think so."
She's hilarious on the next chapter, but i won't write it all down.
Anyways..back to the story... [did i mention her name is Mena? Well it is :)] Mena starts having some feelings for the Casey dude, ooooh! And they start hanging out more.. even tho all her ex-friends make fun of her. LIMM
Later in the story they tell you why she is to blame about the church being sued for millions of dollars. And her parents not talking to her.
But i won't spoil it. You should read it to find out :)

I'm watching 12 Angry Men. I tought it was gonna be boring, but i find the movie very interesting. I have a new goal this year. For people that didn't know this, my old goal [last year] was trying to read 175 books in one year. I didn't make it, i got to 93 books. But anyways, my new goal this year is to see the "100 movies to see Before You Die". Yahoo made a list of the 100 must see movies. And i wrote them down on a sheet of paper, and marked off the ones that i've already seen. So far i only need 89 more movies to see. If i finish this goal before the year is over i'll be doing another goal. Any suggestions?
